Why a Philae Temple private tour makes sense
Philae stands on Agilkia Island, and no road reaches it. You drive to the landing at Marina Philae (Shellal), then cross by motorboat, which takes 10 to 15 minutes each way. Independent visitors pay for that boat per boat and agree the price at the landing.

The shortest option is a three-hour private visit that starts at your Aswan hotel. It includes the entry ticket, the motorboat, an English-speaking guide, water, taxes and the return to your hotel, for 68 USD per person. Because the ticket is inside the price, it is the simplest way to see the temple, the Isis sanctuary and Trajan's Kiosk with someone explaining the reliefs.
